(The following information was compiled from different sources. I found a reference to Lt. Boggan within the pages of WW2 Escape and Evasion Information Exchange and Le Reseau Comete “Comet Network”.)

2nd Lt. Thomas L. Boggan, 00691612. Bombardier aboard B-24 42-95043, ”Lindie”, piloted by Lt. Paul Mathison. On 1 August 1944, the ship was returning from a mission in Northern France when it was hit by flak and crashed. Lt. Boggan survived. See (MACR 8234) He managed to evade capture with the help of “The Comete Line”, a group of Belgians who volunteered to help downed fliers return to the UK. He was liberated on 13 August 1944.
