Frank D. Brendza: Born: 8/17/1923; Died: 6/9/2012
1941: Enlisted in the Army Air Corps
1945: Enlisted in the Army Air Corps Reserve
1947: Enlisted in Army Medical Corps, when the Army Air Corps became the US Air Force in 1947
1964: Retired

1943: Enlisted in the Army Air Corps. Trained in Tampa FL on Radar

1943-1945: CBI: Stationed in Burma with the Radar Unit, however, the radars did not function well due to the Himalayan Mountains. Dad was assigned with the 7th Bombardment group with the Flight Surgeon Office at HQ as a Flight Courier. Other locations he was stationed were: Tezpur, Pandeveswar, Dumdum, and Myitkyina. (Dad did not have enough points to return to the US and was transferred to the airport in Dumdum).

1945: Returned home to Pittsburgh, PA. Enlisted in the Army Air Corps Reserve.
1952-1954: Korean War; Pusan, South Korea; Sgt Major at 21st Station Evac Hospital
1954-1959: Pittsburgh, PA; 2nd Army, Armed Forces Examining Station
1959-1963: Frankfort, Germany; 3rd Armored Division, 45th Medical Detachment
1963- 1964: Fort Eustis, VA: Sgt Major McDonald Army Hospital
1964: December 1, 1964 retired with 23 years of service as a Master Sergeant
