From Missing Air Crew Report #10630 - Plane 44-41439 [with Murrell & Crew] departed Suichwan, China on a Routine [gas-haul] Flight to Lu-liang, China at 1700 hours, 17 December 1944. At 2100 hours they contacted the Chanyi tower indicating that they were short of gas, but did not give their location. No further word has been received and the crew is still missing. Plane and crew belong to the 7th Bombardment Group (H), 10th Air Force, and were on Detached Service with the 308th Bombardment Group (H).
