MISSION #17 - 3 January (Monday) - Breakfast 0615, briefed 0700. T.O. 0815. Target is oil pumping plant at "Yenangyaung". Twelve planes in all & everything was messed up. Over target 1150. Missed by about 5 miles. Duffy made mistake. all others Sqds wandering around too. Back O.K. 1545. 07:30 combat hours 153:55 total
